Christmas! It is the time of the year when we give gifts and celebrate. We are off work for a few days, and Santa Clause comes into town. But, do we ever think deeper into Christmas?
I know that we all know the Christmas story. (Jesus was born in Bethleham). But, do we ever just sit back and truly thank God for sending His son? We should recognize the seriousness of this holiday and take time to really think about what happened 2000 years ago.
I went to lunch with Daniel Scoby yesterday. During lunch we talked about life and what God is doing in each of us. We also talked about what we are struggling with and what we needed prayer for. After lunch I showed him my favorite Christmas song. It paints a picture of the birth of Christ like nothing I have ever heard. Take a moment to watch this and get lost in thinking about what is being said.
